Availability- Ability to have multiple breaks within daily availability
Employees would like to have ability to enter their availability with multiple breaks within a given day. Our managers are very supportive of such feature potential to reduce toing/froing when organising shifts. Example: We have single parents working for us who need to drop-off/pick up their kids from school. They would like to setup their availability as from 6am to 8am, then from 9am to 3pm, and then from 4pm to 7pm. Or at a minimum to have availability from 9am to 3pm and then from 4pm to 9pm.

Dylan Halliday AdminGood news! This suggestion has been added to the developer's roadmap. At this stage, I cannot give an ETA as this is part of a more significant release that will see many improvements released at the same time.

Woody MergedWe have a lot of shift work so an employee may be available for a shift from say 0400-1000 then available on the same day from 1900-0000. We cant actually show this in the Availability tab accurately. It would be great if staff could either click on the time slots they are available OR have a couple of sliders to demonstrate split availability for the same day.

Sarah MergedIn availabilities, staff to have split sections of what they can work in one day
For example: They have an appointment that will go 11am-12pm
So they can select they can work from open until 10:30am and then on the same line, have the ability to choose they could also work 1pm-close (or however everyone's trading hours are) -

J Tucker MergedMy workplace has 2 main shifts, an open (day) and close (night). The close shift usually crosses into a new day.
It seems that the availability sliders in RosterElf do not allow splits across a day, meaning that if someone is unavailable for an open but can close, they cannot make them selves fully available to the prior day close.
Although not the end of the world it means that our rostering admin frequently has to override availability warnings to roster close shifts, creating confusion around staff's true availability.
It would nice to have more granular control over availability allowing for multiple blocks of availability on a single day. -
